You will negotiate rates, monitor carrier performance, and coordinate shipments to meet business objectives. Your role is essential in enhancing service quality, optimizing cost efficiency, and ensuring timely deliveries. What We Offer: Base salary and commission %. On-Site Position : Become an integral part of our vibrant workplace by working in our Bogotá office. Face-to-Face Client Meetings: Leverage the opportunity to attend conventions in the US and Mexico, allowing you to bring in your clients and meet them personally. Job Responsibilities: Secure and schedule freight shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and customers to coordinate efficient transportation of goods. Track and monitor shipments in real-time using our logistics software, ensuring they adhere to timelines and customer requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during transport, such as delays, route changes, or damaged goods. Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including dispatch documents, invoices, and delivery confirmations. Prepare and submit necessary paperwork for customs clearance (if applicable). Assist with driver onboarding and management (e.g., trip assignments, and route planning). Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while building strong relationships with clients and carriers. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience as a freight dispatcher or a similar logistics role. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with transportation management software (a plus). Bilingualism in Spanish and English (a strong plus).
