Job Responsibilities We are searching for someone to design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. You will create solutions derived from forensics and attack attribution, facilitate protection of critical networks and active systems, and conduct knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support. The right candidate will apply computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures) to each problem to provide state-of-the-art techniques, tools, and approaches. Capabilities - Design, develop, deliver and operate solutions to cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. - Address issues such as forensics, attack attribution, network protection, system warnings, active penetration, and knowledge discovery, applying requisite computer science skills to provide advanced techniques and tools. Qualifications Levels vary based on education and experience: - Level 1: Bachelor's Degree + 2 years relevant experience OR Associates + 4 years - Level 2: Master's Degree + 3 years OR Bachelor's + 5 years OR Associates + 7 years - Level 3: Doctoral + 4 years OR Master's + 6 years OR Bachelor's + 8 years OR Associates + 10 years - Level 4: Doctoral + 7 years OR Master's + 9 years OR Bachelor's + 11 years OR Associates + 13 years All levels require a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with programming and math coursework, and relevant experience in computer science areas such as algorithms, reverse engineering, or systems development.
