Job Description Blend is seeking an Administration and Compliance Lead to lead corporateadministration, legal compliance, governance, and risk managementin Colombia. This role requires a strategic leader who can alignlocal business activities with global corporate standards whileensuring full compliance with Colombian regulations. The idealcandidate will serve as the legal representative of the company,managing vendor relationships, mitigating risks, and facilitatingcommunication between local and global teams. Key Responsibilities:1. Ensure full compliance with Colombian labor laws, taxregulations, intellectual property rights, contractual obligations,and civil legislation. 2. Serve as the company’s legalrepresentative in Colombia, with authority to sign contracts,represent the company before banks, and engage with externalstakeholders. 3. Regularly review and update compliance policies tomeet local regulatory changes. 4. Oversee daily administrativeworkflows to ensure the smooth operation of Blend’s office in Colombia. 5. Coordinate with global teams to align local operationswith Blend’s corporate policies and standards. 6. Managerelationships with local vendors and service providers, includingcontract negotiation and review. 7. Identify potential risksrelated to compliance, operations, and governance, and implementmitigation strategies. 8. Coordinate audits and regulatoryinspections, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legalrequirements. 9. Act as a key liaison with legal counsel forregulatory matters and corporate governance. 10. Represent thecompany in discussions with government agencies, regulatory bodies,and industry associations to stay informed on policy changes andadvocate for corporate interests. 11. Report directly to the Headof Colombia and NOLA, providing regular updates on compliancestatus, administrative performance, and key performance indicators.12. Collaborate closely with global teams in finance, HR,marketing, and technology to ensure effective cross-functionalalignment. 13. Facilitate effective communication between the Colombian office and global stakeholders. 14. Support strategicgrowth initiatives in Colombia, including expansion strategies forpotential business opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degreein Law, Business Administration, Public Accounting, or relatedfields. A master’s degree or specialization in corporate law,compliance, or business management is a plus. Minimum of 7 years ofexperience in administrative management, legal compliance, orcorporate governance roles within multinational companies. Provenexperience as a legal representative in Colombia, with strongknowledge of local labor, tax, and corporate laws. Strongleadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functionalrelationships in a global environment. Excellent negotiation,communication, and problem-solving skills. C1 proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Experience workingfor international companies is a plus.
