Who We Are Bueno Law is a Queer space, an immigration law firm helping survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and the LGBTQ+ community to find freedom in the U.S. through legal status. We handle humanitarian visas, asylum, and deportation defense. We’re looking for an HR Assistant to help us stay on top of our game by keeping HR operations organized, efficient, and effective. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) As our HR Assistant, you will assist the HR Director and the team with tasks, organization, and reporting. Your responsibilities will include: Run and analyze reports to track the performance of employees. Monitor call volume and text message platforms. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the team. Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department. Assist with new employee onboarding, including preparing paperwork and conducting orientation. Help organize HR records and maintain accurate employee files. Any other task that might be needed in order to support HR and the team. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills) We need someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to support the HR Team. If this sounds like you, check out the qualifications below: Administrative Experience – Previous admin experience is a must! You know how to keep things organized and running smoothly. Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills – You can juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills – You can communicate clearly and work well with different teams. Tech-savvy— Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with CRM software or reporting tools is a plus! Detail-Oriented – You don’t miss the small stuff and take pride in accuracy. Team Player – You thrive in a team environment but can also work independently.
