The ideal candidate will design and lead technical training for enterprise clients or internal teams, focusing on practical skills, system understanding, and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver structured training sessions on IBM mainframe technologies: OS/390 (z/OS), DB2, JCL, COBOL, CICS, and MQ. - Design customized training plans, hands-on labs, and assessments tailored to audience skill levels and client needs. - Facilitate onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling programs for technical staff. - Translate complex system concepts into accessible learning content for junior and senior professionals. - Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to assess training needs and ensure alignment with technical objectives. - Evaluate training effectiveness through knowledge checks, feedback, and post-training support. - Maintain up-to-date documentation, course materials, and technical references. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience working with IBM Mainframe technologies. - Proven experience in delivering technical training or mentoring programs. - Proficiency in JCL, DB2, COBOL, CICS, and mainframe utilities. - Strong understanding of mainframe system architecture and operations. - Familiarity with PARTENON (optional, if relevant to your clients). - Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to design training modules, exercises, and documentation. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience training corporate clients or supporting internal IT education programs. - Familiarity with tools such as TSO/ISPF, SDSF, SPUFI, QMF. - Experience in banking, insurance, or telecom environments is a plus. - Bilingual (e.g., English & Spanish/Portuguese) is a plus for LATAM delivery.
