**Show the world what you can do.** A Senior QA reports to a QA Lead. Works closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, project managers, designers, and developers to ensure QA standards and client satisfaction are delivered thought-out the account. A Senior QA is someone that brings analytical thinking and support to the team and QA lead on many tasks. **In this role you will**: - Is responsible to perform any of the QA tasks with barely any guidance - Plans conduct and technically directs projects or major phases of significant projects - Is co-responsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements and design specifications - Co-responsible with QA Lead to attend, lead and/or organize meetings on behalf of the team - Responsible to promote and evaluate QA values and principles not only for the QA team but for everyone in the company and our clients. - Co-responsible with QA lead to work and motivate other team members in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with both technical and non-technical team members - Co-responsible with QA Lead to communicate test results, issues, and risks to project team members, project managers, and QA management through the different channels - Co-responsible with QA Lead to promote effective communication, a sense of participation, and involvement amongst QA members. - Take on a co-responsible role with the QA Lead to guide the QA effort which should include, but is not limited to: - Assist with test data identification - Creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans - Writing and maintaining test cases/scripts - Create traceability matrix documents based upon project requirements - Create checklist documentation based upon project requirements - Performing functional and exploratory testing - Effectively communicating statuses - Develop test design documents to cover requirements - Plan and schedule test activities to ensure functional, system, and technical specifications - Is co-responsible with QA Lead for the following: - Create defect tickets and track issues to resolution and risk analysis of said issues - Report creation and related metrics at different levels - Overseeing, delegating, and coordinating work to other QA Associates and apprentices, as needed. - Development of junior staff members - Creating and executing regression tests based on design specifications and requirements - Conducting research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks related to QA **What are we looking for? Besides a great attitude,** **You should have**: - Advanced English Proficiency (B2 + reading, writing, and conversation). - 4 to 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. - 0 to 2 year experience in Agile Methodologies for software development. - 3 to 4 Experience working with local and offshore teams. - Extensive knowledge of Windows or OS software. **It’s a plus if you have**: - ISTQB Certification is a plus. - Other QA related certifications are a plus. - Mastery of office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe illustrador are a plus. - Desirable knowledge of collaboration and issue tracking tools such as Box, Jira, Confluence. **Competencies to be successful in this role**: - Communicates effectively with external teams and clients - Optimizes work processes - Self-development - Being resilient - Manages ambiguity
