DISCOVER THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Semisenior to oversee the full Payroll processing for Canadian Clients. The ideal candidate will be performing daily work with medium complexity ensuring strict compliance with local accounting standards, policies, and procedures, providing guidance and support to junior team members in understanding and implementing these standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the team in the creation and maintenance of Client and Employee data in the Payroll System which may include filing folders, work instruction, payroll calendar, trusted source, etc. Performs daily work with medium complexity, payroll registers such as Client and employee registrations into Canadian Authorities, data entrance in payroll system, preparation of local pension filing, support in employee benefits administration (leave, claims, etc.), HR related matters. Perform statutory submissions. Perform banking/payroll fund requests, monitor banking deadlines and ensure timely delivery. Assist with the registration of users in Bank Accounts. Adherence to ISAE 3402 / ISO 27001 standards. Assists in the startup, if requested, and manage the administration for new clients. Completes time sheets in an accurate and timely manner. KEY REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field. Advanced english. Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Payroll (Including Bank reconciliations). Proficient in ensuring accurate reconciliation of reports and accounts. Excellent English language skills (B2-C1), both written and spoken.
