Hiring Department The School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology Job Description The School of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, is pleased to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding team. This position provides medical care in the Endocrine clinic setting. It is linked with Job ID 54516 - Physician Assistant Specialty Care, and three roles will be filled. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing professional medical services to patients in the endocrine clinic, including developing treatment plans, ordering diagnostic procedures, reviewing lab values, prescribing medications, and educating patients and families. Collaborating with physicians and staff to support a team-based approach to patient care, assisting with complex patient needs, explaining lab results, responding to messages, and peer-to-peer communication. Participating in Endocrine didactics with fellows. Performing other duties as assigned. Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing degree. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN license. RNs must apply under their new state of residency within 30 days if it changes. Must have a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in Endocrinology is preferred, especially in calcium disorders, diabetes, or metabolic bone disease.
