Program Coordinator – Generation Colombia (Based in Colombia – Remote/Consultant) Location: Remote Department: Regional COO, LatAm Function Employment Type: Contractor Minimum Experience: Mid-level We are seeking an exceptional Program Coordinator to support the recruitment and selection of learners for our programs in Colombia. About the role: Job type: Paid full-time (40 hours per week) Job duration: 6-month contract (approximately August 2025 to February 2026), with potential extension based on funding and performance Location: Remote, must be based in Colombia with reliable WiFi Start date: August 2025 What you’ll do: The Program Coordinator for mobilization will support learner recruitment and selection in Colombia. They will help reach, attract, and screen potential learners, and build partnerships with local organizations to enhance mobilization efforts. The Coordinator will report to the Program & Operations Lead and the Program Manager for Mobilization. Main responsibilities: Support mobilization campaigns: Establish campaign timelines with the Global Marketing team Assist in defining outreach strategies Manage applicant communications efficiently Contribute ideas to improve outreach, considering learner profiles and funder needs Assist in defining learner personas Manage applicant screening and selection: Lead applicant screening to meet cohort targets Set up and maintain application systems Analyze data to improve selection processes Ensure mobilization deliverables (learner lists, signed agreements, platform synchronization) Respond to applicant inquiries via official communication channels Build partnerships: Identify and engage organizations for outreach, including targeting specific demographics Manage partner relationships and share campaign data Support innovation in program and operations About you: 2-4 years experience in program coordination, ideally in nonprofit, startup, or social enterprise Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills Experience developing procedures and managing stakeholder relationships Proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented with analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Committed to Generation’s mission and social impact, preferably with experience with disadvantaged communities Willing to travel as needed Generation is a global nonprofit supporting economic mobility through education-to-employment programs.
