The role We are looking for an Electronic or Mechanical Engineering Intern role and it could be an opportunity to join us. You will have the opportunity to be part of our 4 to 6-month program, in which you will have the chance to know Kiwibot inside out and experience the real tech startup environment through intensive training and exposure. **Requirements**: As a Maintenance Technician a typical day might include the following: - Deployment process. - Fleet maintenance. - Repair parts. - Electronic device welding. - Debugging parts. - Document Known issues. - Support the robots test. - Being comfortable with addressing frequent product changes. - Understanding limitations in our technology. - Frequently coming across unknowns. - Managing constant change and sudden growth. **The program is divided like this**: - Introduction to Kiwibot and training (1-3 weeks) - On-field intensive training (15-20 weeks) - Experience debriefing (1-3 weeks) - Time off (according to colombian labor law) - The exact duration of each section is an estimate and can change during the curse of the program. - The intensive training will be in America, the Middle East or Asia. **This job might be the right one for you if**: - Legally eligible to work in Colombia. - Proficient English level. - Hand soldering and rework experience is highly desirable. - Electronic testing skills. - Strong documentation and communication skills. - Experience in debugging and resolving hardware and software issues. **You might have also have**: - Some electronics design experience is preferred with ability to review and understand schematics and electronic board layout designs. - Spanish language skills (we are a Latin America start-up!) - Experience starting or scaling a successful startup - Demonstrated interest in logistics, on-demand services, and marketplaces - Problem Solving attitude and experience - Collaborating with other engineers and professional **Benefits**: Benefits for completing the program Once you finish the program and meet the minimum performance criteria, you will receive: - A completion certificate of the program. - A recommendation letter from Kiwibot for you to use as a reference with other companies. - Priority on our HR selection processes whenever we open new positions in the company. **Perks**: Access to Platzi so you can keep developing your skills even further.
