Accounting Officer We are seeking a highly organized and proactive accounting professional to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis. This role requires the ability to read and explain financial statements, present forecasts to leadership, and contribute to improving financial processes. A passion for accuracy, process improvement, and operational excellence is essential. Main Responsibilities: - Review internal projects, tickets, and service records to ensure accurate billing for both one-time and recurring services. - Stay up to date with accounts receivable activity, following up to ensure prompt client payments and healthy cash flow. - Reconcile all accounts regularly and ensure vendors and accounts payable are paid on time to prevent service disruptions. - Generate and analyze profit and loss reports to monitor profitability across services, products, projects, and clients. - Conduct periodic audits to confirm correct billing and service delivery alignment. - Create and maintain detailed documentation of responsibilities, workflows, and standard operating procedures. - Lead initiatives to automate financial processes and reduce manual tasks. - Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities for leadership. Requirements: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus. - Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. - Strong knowledge of financial principles, including P&L;, balance sheets, A/P, A/R, and forecasting. - Experience with workflow automation and SOP creation is highly desirable.
