Responsibilities: Apply software solutions within the infrastructure domain to automate manual processes and eliminate complexity. Help set your own priorities and influence decision-making on core cloud infrastructure and systems. Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion. Combine knowledge of software development, IT, and security to enhance platform security, resilience, and performance. Proactively find ways to improve observability and reliability of systems. Work with the engineering team to identify and implement workflow and tool improvements to boost productivity. Provide mentorship, conduct design and code reviews, and offer architecture recommendations for the infrastructure team and engineering organization. Document processes to ensure smooth operations and reduce critical dependencies. Desired Experience: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). At least 5+ years in: Working across the entire stack to troubleshoot and optimize systems. Command-line proficiency, Linux expertise, and networking knowledge (Load Balancers, Proxies, (S)NAT, Docker, etc.). Experience with Linux OS and fundamental operating system concepts. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Golang, Bash, ReactJS) and troubleshooting across the stack. High skill level with managed cloud services (AWS preferred, GCP, Azure also valuable). Experience with building pipelines using Kubernetes/EKS, Helm. Knowledge of operational metrics, dashboards, and alert systems. Deep understanding of container technologies and orchestration. Familiarity with service meshes, dynamic configuration, container scanning, and secrets management for microservices environments. Coding in an Agile Environment: Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual effort. Build tools (Python or Golang) to standardize engineering processes. Maintain disciplined testing practices across projects. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc. If you are a smart, ambitious Cloud Engineer, we want you on the team!
