Then this may be the opportunity for you. **The Role** Roles in the Financial Control job family have ultimate accountability for true and fair representation of business performance in financial statements. FC Sr. Analyst take responsibility for the classification, consolidation and interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting (including the provision of insight, analysis and the accurate and timely delivery of end market budgets, management accounts and financial accounts) and the monitoring of financial risks; with special focus on the control agenda and statutory, as well as GSV (Royalties and TS) and COGs on the balance sheet side. It is the number 1 market in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in terms of profitability, both in absolute and margin terms, and close to number 2 in terms of NSV. Globally, we are the second most profitable market for Diageo, after North America. **Accountabilities**: 1. Day to day management of the respective Profit and Loss / Balance sheet area from accounting, reporting and controlling perspective. 2. Provide decision support for business partners to optimize the business unit’s financial performance within the overall corporate strategy. Delivering benefit analysis, detailed understanding of movements on accounts, the business reason behind those, and collection and presentation of risks & opportunities. 3. Interpret reports and data using some techniques and tools and communicates to business and financial colleagues, providing technical support and advice to business partners. Continuously supervise the respective P&L; and/or BS accounts for any inconsistencies. 4. Develop, present and champion recommendations to business unit teams on actions to drive business results. 5. Ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are closely adhered to in line with global processes and standards. 6. Identify and implement improvements in execution to improve efficiency, effectiveness, controls, compliance and adherence to global standards and procedures. 7. End to end process accountability for low to mid sophisticated/risk markets/collaborators. 8. Specific ownership of P&L; and Balance Sheet accounts. 9. Keep Process Documentation actualized and accurate. **Critical Finance Capabilities**: **Strong Financial Control **(Balance sheet, Cash and Working Capital, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles) **Outstanding Risk Management **(Internal Controls, Handling Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics) **Outstanding Value Creation **(Business Performance Management, Support Decision Making) **Qualifications/Experience**: - Degree educated in relevant finance / business. - Financial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred (knowledge on IFRS / NIIF). - Experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating. environment from professional services audit background. - Experience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantage. - Language: English required.
