Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Evaluate the economic impact of the use of products and therapies by physicians, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers Develop hospital marketing programs related to coverage, coding, and reimbursement Create tool-based programs to resolve or reduce economic barriers to the use of products and therapies across all sites of care Conduct financial audits, benchmarking, and presentations for hospital and physician clients Provide training and educational programs to the sales force, physicians, home care agencies, ambulatory surgery centers, case managers, and financial and billing employees in clinics and hospitals Work closely with the reimbursement strategy team to implement policy and payment changes with the field sales force and clients through education and services Work with customer accounts to develop promotional campaigns that support coverage and payment strategies Collaborate with key clients/accounts to develop partnership strategies that promote cost-effective delivery of therapies and identify opportunities for therapy adoption Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in medicine is required Seven years of experience in health economics, reimbursement systems, and healthcare market access Experience working in pharma o medical devices industries Experience working with hospital operations, medical billing and coding practices, and payer systems across various healthcare settings, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and home care agencies Fluent in English level Knowledge with MS Office Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
