Job Title: Sales Director – EU Region Location: Spain (Remote, with occasional travel) About the Company: Our client is a globally recognized leader in the automotive industry, with operations in over 40 countries spanning Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Position Summary: The Sales Director – EU Region will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team across Europe. This role will report to global leadership and play a critical part in achieving business growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the sales strategy across the EU region to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals - Lead and manage the regional sales team, ensuring strong execution, pipeline development, and performance management - Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners - Identify and develop new business opportunities across both mature and emerging markets in the region - Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, finance, and operations to align sales efforts with overall business goals - Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed - Drive forecasting, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations - Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership on sales performance, KPIs, and market intelligence Qualifications: - 10+ years of sales experience in the automotive sector, with at least 5 years in a regional or leadership role - Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large customer accounts in a multi-country setting - Strong understanding of automotive supply chain dynamics, customer requirements, and regional market differences - Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities - Experience in leading and motivating cross-border, multicultural teams - Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills - Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
