MEDTECH Segment - Johnson & Johnson Our Medtech business segment produces a broad range of innovative products and solutions used primarily by health care professionals in the fields of orthopaedics, cardiovascular disease and general surgery. **Job Description Summary** Responsible for drive strategic pricing & profit conversations with sales, marketing, bids and finance teams to improve our profitability, reduce price dispersion, align customers segmentation and brand ladders, based on deep understanding of the business, pricing strategies and relevant finance acumen. In charge of shaping pricing area to revenue and profit management area, driving the change management, connecting with the stakeholders, with high sense of customer centricity, reviewing the data and providing relevant insights that allows the business to take the right decisions to improve our strategies and profit. **Main responsibilities are**: - Be the business partner for Business support, connecting customer centricity with data, pricing strategy and profit to generate recommendations that add value. - Challenge the status Quo thinking out the box, generating proposals to solve business needs, ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the Company. - Responsible for design and lead the execution of the price increase, with strong interaction with the sales, marketing, bids and finance teams, to deliver the BP compromises, taking in consideration the brand ladders, price dispersion and other pricing strategies need it to have reflected in our list prices our customer centricity, based on fair market value vs our position and product differentiator. - Lead and conduct presentations to pricing committee and business leaders, per request, segmentation, or strategy. - Lead and develop the pricing specialist. - Lead monthly business review meeting with sales and marketing teams, based on sales, profit and PVC reports, to look and track opportunities to maximize sales and improved profit based on price adherence, low profit zones and mix review. - Lead and collaborate in special projects cross areas. - Support key business negotiations. - Connect with other regions and regional strategic pricing office to bring benchmarks. - Ensure that Compliance is first during the pricing process. **Qualifications**: **Core competencies /skills**: This position requires a proactive, mature, person who can comply with specific short deadlines. Must have strong analytical and numerical skills in addition to business and financial acumen. The person should have the ability to navigate in a global organization such as J&J.; Other important competencies and skills are: - Global orientation with attention to detail. - High level understanding of BI and advance excel - Capacity to learn and adapt to different changing environments - Capacity to see the big picture and connect the dots - Ability to connect with diverse stablishing trustworthy relationships - Emphatic person able to generate rapport and confidence in the stakeholders - Critical thinking - Capacity to fell comfort with changes and dynamic business - Capacity to have complex conversations with different range of stake holders - Capacity to prioritize and transmit clearly this to the business, the team and he/her manager **Qualifications** - Graduate degree required - Between 4 years of relevant experience in Pricing, Financial Planning, Finance Business Support or Revenue and Profit Management areas in the health care or other sector - Intermediate English Level **Experience**: - Experience handling commercial leaders - Experience working effectively with cross functional teams. - Modelling skills, being able to navigate ambiguity, set and align key assumptions, provide in depth analyses, and summarize recommendations according to the respective audience - Experience with reports & analysis, planning process, improvements in execution within her/his scope, ad hoc presentations for business leaders - Experience connecting and influencing several stakeholders, developing deep relationships with them - Experience leading people is desirable - Experience influencing the business decisions with robust analyses and concise summaries - Experience in a role that need to be resilience to handle fluid environmental changes and business complexity, bouncing back frequently
