Senior Generalist Engineer Role This is a full-time onsite position at one of our global studios, starting once the location is established. Supported by project leads, the Senior Generalist Engineer will tackle complex technical challenges in a dynamic environment with experienced leaders and a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in Unreal Engine 4+ using C++ and a willingness to explore other game engines and programming languages. Key Responsibilities - Create high-performance code in a cross-platform setting - Deploy, evaluate, optimize, and test software on PC and console platforms - Evaluate existing technology architectures - Drive technology evaluation and documentation - Adapt engineering solutions to utilize latest console APIs - Extend systems to meet long-term development needs - Collaborate with external development partners - Maintain coding standards and best practices - Guide junior and mid-level engineers on relevant technologies and best practices Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience - 5+ years of AAA game development experience Preferred Skills - Proficient in C/C++ - Familiarity with C, C#, HTML, Java, HLSL/GLSL - Strong understanding of multi-threaded programming - Knowledge of software engineering/architecture and design patterns - Able to write efficient, clean, readable, portable, and reliable code - Experience with 3D skills and low-level engine expertise - Creative, motivated, focused, passionate, results-driven - Effective communicator in a team-oriented environment - Familiarity with contemporary engines and platforms Plus Factors - Unreal Engine 5 experience - Mobile or native Android development experience - Passion for video games and game development - Previous experience with rendering, graphics, or optimization We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
