Job Title DNS Infrastructure Specialist About Your Role: This role is part of a global infrastructure team responsible for designing and operating our critical DNS infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. The team operates under a Follow-the-Sun model, ensuring 24/7 support and collaboration across regions. Summary of the role: We are looking for a skilled engineer who will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of DNS services across a multi-cloud environment. You will work in a Follow-the-Sun model, collaborating with international teams to support a highly available and secure DNS platform. This is a hands-on engineering role combining infrastructure design, automation, and operational excellence. In this role you'll: · Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for DNS infrastructure using Terraform. · Design and implement automation for DNS operations and deployments. · Operate and support DNS services across Azure, GCP, AWS, and on-prem environments. · Ensure high availability, performance, and security of DNS infrastructure. · Troubleshoot DNS-related issues and participate in incident response and root cause analysis. · Collaborate with internal teams to support DNS needs for applications and services. · Improve monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. · Contribute to DNS architecture design and standards. · Participate in an on-call rotation for 2nd level DNS support. About the ideal candidate: · Deep understanding of DNS fundamentals. · Hands-on experience with BIND and/or Infoblox in production. · Familiarity with cloud-native DNS. · Proficiency in Terraform and scripting languages. · Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and tools like Jenkins, Docker. · Knowledge of monitoring tools. · Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. · ITIL awareness or certification is a plus. · Excellent communication and teamwork skills. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field—or equivalent practical experience. · 5+ years of experience in DNS engineering, network operations, or DevOps roles. · Experience managing DNS in large-scale or enterprise environments. · Exposure to multi-cloud environments is highly desirable. ],
