**Main Purpose**:Assist in managing tax position in multiple jurisdictions across Latam (Peru/Mexico/ Argentina/Colombia). **Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities**: Knowledge Skills And Abilities: - Eight years of experience (at least 6 in taxes) - Bachelor’s degree in Law/Accounting, major in taxes. - Solid knowledge of tax law and regulations. - Experience managing tax audits and tax related litigation. - Experience working with accounting teams and/or auditors. - Training and/or experience in taxes in multiple jurisdictions (highly preferable). - Training and/or experience in Transfer Pricing (preferable). - English: Advanced (reading & speaking). - Analytical skills and ability to work under pressure. - Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.). - Industry knowledge (mineral concentrates, metals and oil, preferable), experience in other commodities also valued. - Experience with derivative instruments (hedging). - Knowledge of accounting principles and financial terms (highly preferred). - The person shall be used not only to provide advice on a theoretical basis, but also to implement in practice. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tax advisory to internal customers. - Work on tax planning alternatives along with the commercial team. - Assist in M&A; projects providing tax input. - Monitor changes in legislation that may impact the business (current and future). - Coordinate and ensure the immediate implementation of compliance of changes in regulations. - Maintain good flow of communication with the Authorities. - Monitor compliance of transfer pricing provisions in all deals. - Prepare reports and provide tax related information as per requested by the Corporation. - Manage requirements made by Tax Authorities. - Manage litigation connected to taxes. - Lead discussions with auditors when connected to taxes. - Supervise the calculation and determination of Corporate Income Tax (and deferred tax). **Key Relationships and Department Overview**: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse workforce.
