Position Summary Alonso & Alonso attorneys at law are seeking a Legal Operations Supervisor who will oversee the operational aspects of a legal department law firm, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves supervising legal support staff, implementing operational processes, and enhancing the delivery of legal services through technology and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Team Supervisor and Development: Lead and manage the legal operations team, including paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff. Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the team members. Monitor team performance and conduct regular evaluations. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure workflows and processes are efficient and effective. Coordinate and manage legal projects, ensuring deadlines are met. Develop and implement standardized procedures and best practices. Technology and Tools Manage legal technology systems, such as case management software, e-billing platforms, and document management systems. Identify and implement technological solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Provide training and support to staff on new tools and software. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in operations. Monitor and mitigate risks related to operational activities. Support the legal team in maintaining records and ensuring confidentiality. Reporting and Analysis Generate reports and metrics to evaluate the legal team's performance and operations. Analyze data identify trends and areas for improvement. Present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with other departments, such as HR, IT, and finance, to support organizational goals. Serve as liaison between legal operations and other internal terms. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related filed; a JD or paralegal certification is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in legal operations, project management, or a related role. Supervisory experience is preferred. Previous experience in an immigration law firm is required.
