Visit us at UST.com We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer will be a part of a software development team working on internal actuarial solution cloud platform. Can independently create API-based web applications from concept to finished product with a cloud-first emphasis using strong knowledge of general programming languages, frameworks, and deployment methodologies. Implements solutions for complicated or ambiguous technical problems. Uses effective communication skills to articulate problems and solutions to both product stakeholders and the development team. Main responsibilities Works in a collaborative environment to build and deploy effective and efficient applications with well-tested code. Designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports API based systems focusing on industry best practices with a cloud-first emphasis. Implements timely decisions on complicated technical problems. Manages individual tasks and timelines with an ability to work without direct supervision. Supports legacy systems while the new ones are being built for launch and adoption by the business. Seeks continuous quality improvements for supported systems. Mentors and coaches teammates Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: 8+ years of software development experience Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies Advanced ability to solve complex problems, drawing upon creativity, experience, and multiple sources of information Advanced English communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in straightforward manner Must have React Terraform TDD tools (Jest, React Libery, Karma, among others) Nice to have C#, .Net or Java Relational/NoSQL database Terraform SQL Conditions Modality: Remote Location: Colombia If you would like to know more, do not hesitate to apply and we’ll get in touch to fill you in details.
