Job Description Analysis teams identify client needs, analyze processes, and propose solutions to align with strategic goals. While fostering efficiency and ensuring organizational success through systematic approaches, they also mediate between clients and engineering teams to ensure project clarity. As a Senior Business Analyst at Endava, you'll help shape the direction of products or business functions by working closely with both clients and delivery teams. You’ll lead the investigation and analysis of business challenges and identify ways to deliver impactful, practical solutions—whether through technology, process change, or people. You’ll also contribute to the wider Business Analysis discipline through involvement in staff development programs, recruitment activities, and TEAM-based initiatives. Responsibilities: - Build strong relationships with client stakeholders by understanding their business domain and providing tailored consultancy. - Identify, gather, and analyse business requirements aligned with client needs, technical context, and industry trends. - Define and manage product backlogs by translating vision and epics into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. - Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure delivery aligns with product goals, timelines, and business priorities. - Understand the market rationale behind requirements and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. - Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirement sessions, and user acceptance testing. - Document business needs clearly using appropriate tools and ensure traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle. - Continuously monitor industry trends to propose innovative solutions that enhance client processes or products. - Support business case development by assessing solution options, associated risks, costs, and expected benefits. Qualifications - Over 8 years of experience in business analysis and product ownership, primarily in Agile environments (Scrum). - Skilled in building strong stakeholder relationships through deep domain understanding and tailored consultancy. - Proven ability to gather, analyse, and translate business needs into clear, actionable solution requirements. - Experienced in defining and maintaining product backlogs, writing user stories, and setting acceptance criteria. - Demonstrated leadership in guiding cross-functional teams and facilitating workshops, reviews, and UAT. - Hands-on experience aligning product delivery with market needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to identifying process inefficiencies. - Capable of measuring product performance and using insights to drive iterative improvement. - Proficient in business analysis tools, standards, and documentation best practices. - Adept at managing multiple initiatives across time zones while meeting tight deadlines. - A collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on relationship-building. - Comfortable adapting to change and embracing new technologies to drive innovation. - Knowledgeable in business case development, including cost-benefit and risk analysis. - Experienced in project planning and supporting business transformation through effective solution design.
