This is a compelling opportunity because you'll work on integrating hardware and cloud technologies to optimize logistics using cutting-edge tech at Sizelabs. Compensation: USD 2K - 3K/month. What makes you a strong candidate: You are expert in algorithm development, computer vision, machine learning, and Python. You are proficient in 3D camera calibration, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), MLOps, and architecture modeling. You are fluent in Spanish . Responsibilities include: Serving as the direct technical lead and mentor for the Vision & AI team (Python, ML). Shaping the team’s roadmap, technical direction, and decision-making processes. Leading sprint planning, architecture reviews, and performance assessments. Assisting in scaling the team by recruiting additional ML engineers or vision specialists. Product-Critical System Ownership: Own the end-to-end implementation and evolution of: Dimensioning precision systems (3D camera pipelines, calibration, measurement algorithms). AI Models for field matching, correction, and suggestion (supervised + behavioral learning loops). Other AI Models. Platform Stability & Performance: Drive improvements in: Field accuracy (inch-level for pallets, label-level for OCR/SLR). System stability and throughput (cloud + Jetson edge deployment). Handling degraded inputs (e.g., crumpled labels, poor lighting, black shrink wrap). Leading root cause analysis and long-term solutions for recurring failures. Designing modular, testable pipelines for edge and cloud deployment. Collaborating with backend and WMS teams for seamless data integration.
