Direct message the job poster from Straive We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Lead to oversee the daily functioning and strategic development of our team in Colombia, serving a prominent music industry client. This critical role requires a proven leader with a strong operational background, exceptional client relationship management skills, and a keen understanding of various business functions relevant to the music industry. The Operations Lead will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, optimizing team performance, fostering a collaborative environment, and acting as a key liaison between our team and the client's various departments. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of professionals working with various processes. Set clear performance goals and KPIs for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback. Oversee resource allocation and project timelines to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of services. Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and growth. Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team culture. Operational Excellence & Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and refine operational processes and workflows to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Monitor operational data and key metrics to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to company standards, client SLAs, and all relevant company policies and procedures. Implement quality control measures across all team functions. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational communication with the client's various departments. Proactively address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction. Translate client requirements into actionable tasks and projects for the team. Prepare and present regular performance reports and operational insights to the internal stakeholders. Project Coordination & Administration: Oversee administrative functions, including internal reporting, budget tracking, and coordination with finance for vendor payments and invoicing. Coordinate cross-functional projects involving different team roles, ensuring seamless execution and communication. Qualifications: Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in operations management, team leadership, or a similar administrative and coordination capacity within a service-oriented environment. Demonstrated experience in managing diverse teams and overseeing multiple functions. Previous experience working with or within the music industry, demonstrating familiarity with its unique operational aspects (e.g., content, marketing, finance within entertainment). Bilingual Proficiency: Native fluency in Spanish and advanced professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential. Strong Leadership & People Management: Proven ability to inspire, develop, and manage a high-performing team. Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and client stakeholders at all levels. Analytical & Problem-Solving: Highly analytical with a strong ability to identify operational bottlenecks, analyze data (including proficiency in Excel), and implement effective solutions. Organizational & Time Management: Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability & Proactiveness: Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and adapt quickly to changing client needs and industry trends. Collaboration: Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, capable of working cross-functionally.
