A US based industrial manufuacturer is seeking a mechanical SolidWorks designer. This individual will be part of the R&D; and engineering department and work closely with Production to design and document the equipment. Responsibilities will include producing detailed models, assemblies and production drawings for new and existing products. **Responsibilities** - Provide/Develop Fabrication Documentation - Maintain Updated Fabrication Documentation - Continuous Design Improvement - New Product Design/Development - Technical Documentation Content - Maintain/Update CAD Library **Skills & Experience** - Expert in Solidworks creating parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings. - Prefer 5+ years experience with advanced Solidworks and manufacturing. - Proficient in AutoCAD creating 2D drawings. - Mechanical background, preferably in exhaust systems or heating appliances, but not required. - Experienced in sheet metal design - Detail oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects. - Ability to communicate with sales, engineers, and outside customers. - Proficient with MS Office and Adobe. This job is fully remote and will work with our United States based staff.
