**Job Duties**: - Conduct technical meetings with stakeholders within the assigned Carrier and Service Provider accounts to highlight Fortinet products and solutions - Homologate the Fortinet Product Portfolio inside the Named Service Provider Accounts and provide support for the sales counterpart in order to position Fortinet products and technology as the standard offering for Managed Security Services (Sell-Through). - Coordinate and run demo labs or proof-of-concepts required by customers, in order to shorten the sales cycle and effectively highlight Fortinet advantages over competitors. - Create/Modify/Translate competitive documentation that can show in a convincing way, why Fortinet has a superior technology and product portfolio versus competitors, highlighting benefits to customers. - Give proper follow-up to VIP projects and promptly report any advances or potential issues, so the sales counterpart can be aware and proactively work on the next step. - Provide pre-sales technical support to Fortinet Sales representatives, Fortinet resellers and distributors, in order to positively influence sales and development of Fortinet Solutions offering within the account or territory (Latin America and the Caribbean). - Support educational efforts (both in-classroom and remote via Webinars) targeted to keep a high degree of knowledge about Fortinet’s solutions, to the partner, reseller and distributor base. - Create technical documents and/or presentations that can help the partner base to perform better/quicker/more impressive demonstrations, to effectively show Fortinet’ products strengths. - Create/Modify/translate presentations as needed to effectively deliver Fortinet’s message to any type of audience. - Be aware of business and technology trends that can impact the SD-WAN market in the future, so proper positioning can be developed around such trends in the SD-WAN market. - Participate and be part of the feedback process to Research and Development, on information that flows from customers, partners and distributors, regarding potential improvements in Fortinet product line. - Be part of the internal engineering communities (Tech Teams, Mailing lists, Partner Forums) and assist others within or outside the region, in order to make Fortinet more successful as a company. - Take internal or external trainings as needed (including self-training modules) in order to keep product knowledge at the best possible, and be an expert resource for resellers, partners, distributors and other peers. - Collaboratively work with peers within Latin America, in order to work on initiatives specific to the LATAM Market, which can help to give better service to our customers, partners and the security community in general. **Job Experience / Abilities Required**: - At least 5 years of experience on network infrastructure design & troubleshooting, Lan Switching (STP, PVST, MST, Trill and loop avoidance variants), Advanced Routing (OSPFv2 and BGPv4) and QoS mechanisms (Classification, Queueing, Congestion Avoidance, Shapping and Link efficiency mechanisms) - Knowledge in IPv6, WLAN, mobile/packet core, 4G / LTE, VoLTE, metroethernet, CGNAT, GiFW, SecGW, MPLS, MPLS-TE, GTP/Carrier Firewalls, Cloud, Telco-Cloud and SD-WAN is a plus - At least 3 years of experience on design, installation and/or operation of network security solutions, including: Firewalls, VPNs, IDP/IDS, Antivirus Gateways, Web Content Filtering, AntiSpam - Previous experience (at least 3 years) working with Internet Service Providers or Wireless Service Providers either as an employee, partner or vendor attending the mentioned Named Account or technology (SD-WAN) on the location defined (Mexico and/or Colombia). - Deep technical knowledge of SD-WAN technologies from the top recognized vendors from the industry. - Strong understanding of common TCP/IP Service Protocols, such as ICMP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SNMP, SSH, RIP, OSPF, BGP, PPTP, L2TP, 802.1q, 802.1x - Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: IPSec, SSL, 3DES, AES, SHA-1, MD5. - Strong understanding of scripting and automation technologies based but not limited to: Python, Ruby, Perl, Ansible, Java, Terraform and general API development. - Business oriented with sales skills. - Experience on the design, installation and/or operation of network security solutions, including at least three of the following: Firewalls, VPNs, IDP/IPS, Antivirus Gateways, Web Content Filtering, AntiSpam, Vulnerability Managers, Database Security, VoIP Security. - Knowledge and experience of authentication and cryptography systems, protocols and technologies such as LDAP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, TACACS+, Active Directory, Digital Certificates / PKI, SSL, IPSec, - At least 2 product certifications on Networking, Firewalls, VPNs, IPS, Antivirus, AntiSpam, URL Filtering or Vulnerability Managers; that can be from Fortinet or from other competitor products is a plus. - At least 3
