Your Role as Cloud Architecture Lead As a Senior IT Architect at BCG Platinion, you will work closely with case team members to assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies, architecture solutions, and apply your technical know-how and understanding of business contexts. You will be responsible for owning the delivery for a specific project module and help develop technical concepts for that module. You will also coach other project members and help lead other consultants in their own work stream when possible. Key Responsibilities - Assess and coach clients' IT teams to define IT strategies and architecture solutions - Own the delivery for a specific project module - Develop technical concepts for that module - Coach other project members - Help lead other consultants in their own work stream Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: - A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in cloud architecture and cloud strategy, technical project management, or technology consulting - Proficient in designing and implementing cloud architectures, including requirements gathering, conceptual and technical architecture design, high availability, and disaster recovery scenarios - Domain knowledge on regulatory compliance for cloud deployments, cloud lock-in avoidance strategies, and multi-cloud designs - Knowledge on infrastructure automation, scalability, and cloud components sizing (DevOps, Serverless) and IaC - Domain knowledge on any major CSP portfolio of XaaS services Desirable Expertise Familiarity with regulations and compliance standards relevant to cloud security and privacy (DORA, GDPR, NIS2) and data sovereignty strategies. Experience in developing and enforcing cloud governance policies to ensure cost management (FinOps), security compliance, and resource optimization within the cloud environment. Proficient in implementing cloud security strategies, including the use of tools for continuous monitoring and threat detection. Interpersonal & Leadership Skills Analytical Mindset: Capability to evaluate complex IT ecosystems and recommend optimization strategies. Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively liaise with business and technical stakeholders. Leadership and Mentorship: Experience guiding development teams and collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
