Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team has an immediate opportunity available for a Hydrologic & Hydraulic Engineer IIIfor employment in Bogota, Colombia.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydrologic & Hydraulic Engineer III to join our Water, Hydraulic & Drainage Team in Bogotá D.C. This role is integral to enhancing our design capabilities within our enterprise capabilities office in Colombia. located in our enterprise capabilities office in Colombia. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of projects, focusing on advanced hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and designs, ensuring the delivery of innovative and effective solutions.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design for diverse projects.Develop floodplain, inundation, and stormwater models.Conduct scour calculations and design mitigation measures.Design and assess linear infrastructure and site drainage systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.Execute stormwater runoff modeling and drainage design for urban and rural settings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hydrologic and hydraulic solutions into broader project designs.Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in hydrology and hydraulic modeling.QualificationsMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in architecture or civil engineering or similar with more than 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.Proficiency in modeling software such as HEC-RAS (1D & 2D), HEC-HMS, SWMM, ARCGIS, CIVIL3D or similar tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.Master's degree in a related field.Experience in international projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.Familiarity with national and international hydrology and hydraulic regulations and standards.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and advance your career within a leading global engineering firm.
