Overview The Civil/Site Senior Engineer will be a key member of the Civil/Site design team responsible for various aspects of land development projects, including site feasibility and conceptual planning, stormwater management, grading, drainage and utility design, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and more. As a Senior Engineer, you may also conduct permitting research, due diligence, and write specifications and reports. The Senior Engineer will work within AutoCAD Civil 3D and alongside the design team managers and other disciplines to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines. Responsibilities Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in land development. Independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Design complete projects, systems, components, or processes. Prepare advanced general and basic non-routine engineering designs and technical data for accuracy and completeness. Prepare comprehensive project documents. Analyze and interpret data, formulate, and solve problems. Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedule assignments. Assist with proposal development for professional services. Provide direction to engineers, technicians, and administrative staff. Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work. Attend meetings and present specific components of assignments. Work within AutoCAD Civil 3D to complete projects within budgets and deadlines. Perform field investigations and site visits as needed. Perform grading, utility, and stormwater designs, calculations, and reports from concept through permitting. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Ideal for those eager to learn, seeking a long-term employer, with some experience, including internships. 2-5 years of relevant experience. PE license preferred. Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to learn and apply technical skills. Solid understanding of engineering concepts, theories, principles, and practices. Strong investigative, analytical, and research skills. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, for technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related communications. Hybrid-friendly; must provide proof of Driver's License, Auto Insurance, and Registration. Compensation: $82,000-$93,000/year, depending on qualifications.
