Proactively monitor the following key metrics to achieve expected results: Customer Loyalty Customer SOPs updated in a timely manner. Customer’s approved list – updated and complete. Operational Performance Complete 52 hours training per year (4.33 per month). OPS/OPA properly follow up. OSD properly follow up. Support billing accuracy: CFIT Edoc timely updates and recordkeeping. Track and Trace Air imports files daily. Service provider management (SPM) Service provider monitoring. SPM tools and resources usage. Data Quality EDI proper usage. EDE timely resolution (Within 5 Calendar Days). District Excellence understanding and execution. Security, Health, and Safety Safety & Security Policies. Compliance Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Trade Partners. In bonds. Service Provider Payments (ACH & Check). Incoterms (Prepaid / Collect). Air Imports Agent job responsibilities: Understand Expeditors’ policies, mission, vision, and culture. Understand Expeditor’s general procedures and quality expectations (District Excellence). Understand the Air Import process flow per Expeditors’ Operational Performance Standards (OPS), and always seek better practices to improve operational performance, efficiency, and productivity. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into Expeditors’ system, per OPS standards. Understand and execute in accordance with the air imports department’s systems and tools, including but not limited to: Air Import Lateral Air import workflow CFIT – Import System EDOC – electronic library Exp.o customs Exp.o GCI All Air import’s automated reports related to OPS, OPA, shipment processing, and shipment status. (Refer to all available reports in AO Imports Automatic Internal Reports) Ensure the highest level of customer service per Expeditors Standards. Ensure all customer SOPs are in place and updated in Expeditors’ Customer SOP database and execute accordingly. Ensure the approved customer list is updated timely as part of onboarding and maintaining customer relationships. Develop professional relationships with all customers, ensuring timely receipt of shipments and demonstrating care for their interests. Keep customers properly and promptly informed about their shipment status. All customer requests must be answered within one hour; if unable to fulfill, inform the customer within the same period. Proactively interact with customers, providing professional advice and suggestions for shipment processing. Coordinate with assigned customer’s broker (internal/external) for customs procedures. Maintain good relationships with internal and external suppliers/service providers. Understand and support service provider management processes. Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting internal and external network collaboration. Interact appropriately with operations peers, pricing, and other offices. Escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor or team with the necessary expertise, such as compliance or accounting. Adhere to all compliance requirements, including trade compliance, TSA, and in-bond regulations. Properly execute our credit policy to protect finances. Ensure timely service provider payments via ACH or checks. Complete mandatory training (52 hours per year, approximately 4.33 hours/month), focusing on air imports topics. Utilize company resources correctly. Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role, or equivalent education and experience. Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication. Problem-solving oriented. Pro-active attitude. Strong organizational skills. Advanced English skills (written and spoken). Understanding of air import processes (preferred). TSA certification (preferred). Hazardous materials certification (preferred). #J-18808-Ljbffr
