We’re a team of 40+ User Experience Researchprofessionals at Oracle NetSuite working on the foundationalelements of the NetSuite product experience. We’re part of a largercommunity of 175+ Experience Designers, Content Designers, UI and Visual Designers, Technical Writers, Videographers, DesignStrategists and connected professionals across Oracle NetSuite. Wecollaborate closely with the NetSuite leadership team under EvanGoldberg and contribute to Oracle’s award-winning Redwood designsystem. What We're Looking For Come and join us as an experienced Director of UX Research in Barcelona. You’ll lead a team of 6+researchers focused on crafting the next-generation productexperience for NetSuite. Your team will be focused on the Foundational NetSuite products that enable customers to customize,administer, and support internationalization efforts. Your groupwill be influential in contributing to the strategy of thesepriorities, the iteration of products through the delivery cycle,and measuring the end users experience and recommending areas offuture investment. You'll lead efforts to evolve research strategy,methodologies, practices as we continue to scale, and ensureresearch is well-integrated into our product developmentdecision-making. Your focus will be to deliver impactful researchinsights to support the product teams’ vision and strategy. Theideal candidate will be a mixture of research mentor, processoptimizer, and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You will beoperating in a large, matrixed organization partnering with VP and Director level stakeholders across product management, engineering,design and research. We’re especially keen to talk to candidateswith strong background of developing employees and workingalongside senior leaders to influence the future roadmap. You willhave operational support from the Design Operations team, but astrong operational mindset will come in handy alongside yourresearch leadership skills. You have at least 6years of experience managing employees. You get totally geeked outabout influencing the product from long term strategy to designdecisions that enhance the experience. You are adept at influencingsenior stakeholders and partners for research and data drivensolutions. Propose, plan, complete, analyze, and deliver userresearch at various stages of the product lifecycle, includingformative and generative research, validation research, andmeasurement of final product experiences. You know about agiledevelopment and the art of helping researchers, designers, andproduct managers work as a cohesive unit. You are data-driven,leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to build astrong case for continuous improvement. You are able to collaboratewith and influence your product and design partners and otherleaders across the product group to become increasinglyuser-centered in everything we do from strategies to roadmaps andplanning. You are comfortable operating in a large, matrixedorganization partnering with VP and Director level stakeholders. You’re a strong collaborator, communicator and servant leader whois seen as a problem-solver. Qualifications / Skills 10+ years ofexperience as a user experience professional, preferably in the Enterprise domain or business software. Proven experienceinfluencing senior stakeholders and execs, and advocating forcritical research practices and insights to be adopted and toinform product decisions. Extensive experience planning andcompleting different types of research - from generative, formativeto evaluative and measurement research. Experience leading teams of5+ Experienced at developing researchers into influential productteam members. Outstanding written and verbal communication skillsin English and skilled at impactful storytelling. Degree in thefield of Psychology, User Experience, HCI, Human Factors or relatedfield (advanced degree a plus). Experience working with Agiledevelopment methodologies in a large enterprise setting. B2Benterprise software spanning user-types, industries and deviceswill give you a good head start. ERP / Financial softwareexperience is a (major) plus. Familiarity with research platformsand tools such as Voice of Customer, d Scout, Jira, and researchrepositories is a bonus. Flexibility to work with geographicallydistributed teams - we have product hubs in Brno (Czech Republic),Barcelona (Spain), Redwood Shores (California), Austin (Texas),Waterloo (Canada) and many more locations. Home-based work is anoption but for this role we do ask that you are based withinregular office-visit range of our office in Barcelona. Does thissound like you?
