The incumbent will work closely with clients and act as liaison between the project team and the client. Will also be required to gather formal requirements from the clients and translate those requirements into clearly defined deliverables for the implementation team. **Your Day with Equisoft**: - Drive requirement sessions with the client around policy administration business processes, technical processes, and non-functional requirements - Translate insurance product requirements into business and functional requirements, and translate insurance business processes, market practices, and other client business needs into specific software requirements - Work with the team leads and client Subject Matter Experts to identify and document solutions, define the project scope, project estimates and timelines - Present and recommend solutions to clients that meet their business needs - Support the project manager and development team by owning the documentation of the detailed business requirements, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and identifying out of scope requirements and change requests - Travel to client offices when necessary **Requirements**: **Technical** - University Degree or commensurate experience, and the ability to communicate, write and synthesize information - 5-6 years’ of experience in a similar role - Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries - Proven ability to gather and document complex business requirements with attention to detail - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex data sets. - Experience in leading and facilitating workshops with clients - Formal business analysis experience - Experience in client-facing project, not just internal initiatives - Very good knowledge of Web Technologies/Environment - Knowledge of the Agile methodology - Excellent knowledge of English & Spanish (spoken and written) **Soft skills** - Strong sense of organization and prioritizing - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information - Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment - Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline **Nice to Haves**: - Comprehensive understanding of Life and Health insurance products and processes. Understanding of group insurance - Understanding the software development cycle.
