Job Description: * DUTIES AND **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Assist INL Maritime Interdiction team to validate Colombian Navy requirements in support of future purchase request for tactical field equipment, vehicles, boats, weapons & ammunition, and construction projects. - Provide expert advice to INL Maritime Interdiction team in reference to different levels of support that is and will be provided to the Colombian Navy. - Assist in high level meetings with INL Maritime Interdiction team and Colombian Navy and provide expert recommendations to INL and Colombian Navy. - Be able to prepare briefings and presentations in support of the INL/Colombian Navy counter drug strategy and goals. - Coordinate with Maritime Logistics coordinator in support of current and future projects. - Conduct market research in support of future purchases. - Coordinate with senior Colombian Naval Officers and Colombian National Police on implementation of the Maritime Interdiction program and help achieve goals and milestones. - Assist Colombian Navy and INL Maritime Interdiction program manager in preparing tables of organizations and equipment (TOE) and other project planning documents, to include power point presentations and monthly operational reports. - Gathers, prepares, and analyze information from different sources to produce reports regarding financial and administrative program results. **Job Requirements**: **MINIMUM **QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION**: University Bachelor of Science Degree required **LANGUAGE **LEVEL**: - English: Good working knowledge in reading and writing (Level III) Limited Knowledge in speaking, and listening (Level II) - Spanish: Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and listening (Level IV) **EXPERIENCE** - Minimum 15 years of experience of the Colombian Navy and/or Colombian Coast Guard is required. Colombian Naval counter drug experience is required. - 10 years of experience in project management is highly desired and 10 years of supervisory experience is required, these years may be within or in addition to the aforementioned years of experience within the Colombian Navy or Coast Guard. **KNOWLEDGE** OF: * Extensive knowledge of Colombian Navy **SKILLS **IN**: - Time management, must be able to resolve issues concerning requirements for the assigned projects with the procurement staff. - Conflict resolution: Must be able to resolve challenges concerning support to the Colombian Navy by INL. - Must be able to use Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Project. **ABILITY **TO**: - Multitask in several simultaneous projects. - Coordinate work activities with team leaders and other coworkers is a must. - Understand and follow oral and written instructions in the Spanish language. - Work cooperatively with other US Government and Colombian employees **TRAINING**: Formal military, police or equivalent civilian training in methods of instruction, Intelligence, Logistics and Management
