Scope of the Role The Partnership Management & Licensing Manager will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships and licensing agreements to expand brand reach and drive revenue growth. This role involves cultivating relationships with potential and existing partners, overseeing contract execution, and ensuring brand alignment across all collaborations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in licensing, brand management, and business development within the consumer goods or entertainment industries. Duties and Responsibilities: - Identify, evaluate, and pursue new partnership and licensing opportunities to enhance brand presence. - Build and maintain strong relationships with licensees, retailers, manufacturers, and other strategic partners. - Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Legal, Creative) to ensure partnerships align with brand vision and business objectives. - Monitor industry trends to identify emerging opportunities for brand expansion. - Develop and implement licensing strategies to maximize revenue and brand exposure. - Negotiate licensing agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with brand standards. - Manage contract renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking. - Work closely with licensees to ensure product quality, brand consistency, and timely execution. - Set and achieve revenue targets for licensed products and partnerships. - Analyze sales performance, market trends, and partner performance to optimize strategies. - Prepare regular reports on partnership and licensing performance for leadership. - Partner with Marketing to develop co-branded campaigns and promotional initiatives. - Coordinate with Product Development and Design teams to ensure licensed products meet brand aesthetics and quality standards. - Liaise with Legal to draft, review, and finalize contracts. Requirements Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Licensing, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in partnership management, licensing, or business development, preferably in consumer goods, entertainment, or lifestyle brands. - Proven track record of negotiating and managing licensing agreements. - Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence external and internal stakeholders. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market opportunities and performance metrics. - Creative thinker with a passion for brand storytelling and collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with iconic, nostalgia-driven brands. - Familiarity with product development, retail distribution, and merchandising. - Existing network of potential licensing partners.
