As a key member of our dispatch operations, you will be instrumental in utilizing Towbook software to ensure timely and effective towing services for our customers. Responsibilities - Handle incoming calls from customers requesting towing and roadside assistance services. - Collect essential information such as location, vehicle type, and reason for service. - Utilize Towbook dispatch software to enter, track, and manage service requests accurately. - Dispatch tow trucks and service personnel based on urgency and availability. - Monitor the status and location of tow trucks to ensure prompt responses. - Maintain communication with customers regarding estimated arrival times and service updates. - Document all service interactions and maintain accurate records within Towbook. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Requirements - Proven experience as a dispatcher, specifically in the towing or roadside assistance industry. - Familiarity with Towbook dispatch software is highly preferred. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Capability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly. - Knowledge of local road networks and geographical areas is advantageous. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and problem-solving capabilities.
