Quality Control Analyst Job description: We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physicochemical analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure quality, safety, and efficacy, complying with regulatory requirements. The analyst will also be responsible for updating and developing procedures, instructions, forms, logs, and managing their dissemination and administration. Additionally, they will conduct analyses during investigations to identify root causes, prevent recurrence, and maintain material quality. Furthermore, the analyst will document laboratory events to meet procedural requirements and verify and calibrate basic laboratory equipment such as pH meters, balances, refrigerators, and pycnometers. Key responsibilities include: - Performing analytical tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products. - Developing and maintaining laboratory procedures and protocols. - Conducting investigations to identify root causes of quality issues. - Verifying and calibrating laboratory equipment. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Chemistry and Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry. You should also have minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control laboratory within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry, as an analyst or laboratory chemist. You should be proficient in volumetric materials, solution preparation, and sample handling. Familiarity with Office, LIMS, and SAP software is also required. Preferred qualifications include: - A Master's degree in a relevant field. - Advanced knowledge of HPLC, UV, IR, and other specialized analysis tools. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
