The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico: As a member of the Program Excellence team, this role focuses on driving alignment across Business Units and deployment initiatives to enforce standard ways of working and raise maturity across the RTX internal program management portfolio. You will work closely with PMOs to improve execution maturity, ensure effective operation within a governance framework, and develop implementation plans to scale and drive adoption. This supports strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term program management maturity across RTX. What You Will Do This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in portfolio management, governance, and enterprise-wide process maturity. You will collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to strengthen governance, improve visibility, and drive execution consistency across Enterprise Services (ES) and Business Unit Digital Technology (DT) teams. Responsibilities include: Develop deep expertise in Planview Portfolios to troubleshoot challenges, optimize processes, and accelerate adoption. Formulate and execute plans with clear milestones, holding stakeholders accountable for delivery. Collaborate with ES and BU PMOs to align and enforce governance frameworks that promote transparency and consistency. Establish best practices in governance, process maturity, and portfolio management to standardize and enhance execution. Manage competing priorities across deployments, integrating initiatives into existing business processes. Advance execution maturity by assessing performance, closing gaps, and enabling adoption of best practices. Track adoption progress using KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and support continuous improvement. Partner with leadership to influence decisions that enhance operational efficiency and foster a culture of improvement and governance excellence. Support roadmap execution and process evolution to scale program management capabilities effectively. This position will reference written work instructions for daily activities, available in English only. Travel 15% or as needed. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience. 7+ years of project management experience, demonstrating ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects with defined scope, schedule, and outcomes. 7+ years of hands-on experience with a project and portfolio management (PPM) tool, such as Planview or Microsoft Project. Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues independently, with supporting examples. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dispersed environment, defining scope clearly to maintain alignment. Qualifications We Prefer Hands-on knowledge of Planview Portfolios. Experience aligning differing processes into a standard process. Financial management experience. Experience with Waterfall and Agile project management. Strong collaboration skills for navigating a matrixed environment.
