The Compensation Specialist is responsible for supporting the Compensation Implementation Manager to ensure that all of the responsibilities listed below are compliant with Schlumberger Corporate Compensation principles, policies and guidelines and compliant with local legal and fiscal regulation. - Prepare compensation packages and assignment letters for assigned population as per C&B; KPOs and metrics and explains package components to HR representative and or management. - Design, review and provide Gross-to-net and Net-to-net calculation for their population. - Participate in implementation of Compensation & Benefits-related projects (compensation review, on-demand project, ). - Assist the Compensation & Benefits Value Experts in salary surveys participation and maintain current salary structures as required. - Assist with the communication of compensation related matters and plans to employees and other members of the HR Community. - Understand and provide guidance on the Compensation and Benefits Standards and ensure compliance with the SLP7 and FP19/EBAR procedures. - Prepare and provide KPO/Metrics/reports for the C&B; function and facilitate its automation/publication on a dashboard. - Ensure C&B; tools and Sharepoint are updated with the most updated rules & documents. - Maintain a working knowledge of governmental legislation influencing compensation. - Assist in maintaining HR InTouch with current documentation and information. - Assist the Spokes in the preparation of any C&B; government filings, benefit plan audits or other reporting requirements. - Assist with the coaching and development of new team members, local HR team and Business Line Managers. - May be required to perform other Compensation-related tasks beyond this scope to support the Compensation Value community. - Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation. - Comply with all applicable Schlumberger standards and policies.
