Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and energetic Cultural Curator for Colombia, to join Spotify's Editorial Team team based in Bogotá. In this role you will be part of the Music team in Colombia and the Latin America region. Responsibilities: - Be a culture guide and proactively identify music trends, stories, and opportunities for Spotify. - Focus on creating and amplifying relevant music stories for our consumer-facing channels. - Work cross-functionally with other teams to fulfill company strategic goals and projects. - Support local and regional Editorial teams with on-platform music programming. - Listen to music from a wide range of musical genres and identify trends and potential story ideas. - Understand and gain insight of consumer behaviors by analyzing trends, data and analytics. - Collaborate with global and international editorial teams on a variety of projects and programming initiatives. - Be an ambassador within the company for artists from Colombia and the region, helping them grow their fanbase through internal workflows. - Work closely with product teams to integrate human music expertise and cultural insights into product development and features. Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in music storytelling, whether through work in digital media or the music industry. - Extremely well plugged into the Colombian and Latin music landscapes. - Able to identify emerging music trends. - Well versed in effective digital storytelling formats for social platforms. - Not afraid to experiment. - Perfect level of written and spoken Spanish and English. - Deep knowledge of music and culture, with a focus on Colombia and a good understanding of the Latin American music landscape. - Broad understanding of music from across all genres and styles. - Numerate and adept at analyzing and interpreting data and using it to set goals. - Strong attention to details and organisation. - Great teammate, adapt well to change, and always have a positive attitude. What You'll Do As a Cultural Curator, you will be responsible for identifying and promoting culturally relevant music stories and trends in Colombia and the Latin America region. You will work closely with the Marketing and PR teams to build and amplify these stories, and collaborate with global and international editorial teams on various projects and programming initiatives. Where You'll Be You will be based out of our Bogotá office, but we offer flexibility to work where you work best, with some in-person meetings required.
