[ERA-490] - QUANTITATIVE SPECIALIST - YOUTH RESILIENCE ACTIVITY

Experience : 7-10 years Panagora Group provides monitoring and evaluation services in the international development industry and currently implements the USAID/Colombia Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activity. The MEL activity provides technical and advisory services to USAID in the following components: (1) Monitoring; (2) Performance and Impact Assessments; (3) Research, Assessments, and Data Analysis; (4) Geographic Information Services (GIS) and (5) Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation tasks (CLA). MEL will conduct a mid-term performance evaluation of the Youth Resilience Activity (YRA). This mid-term performance evaluation aims to gather evidence about mid-term results and process-level lessons of a selection of key components of the YRA. In addition, this evaluation should shed light on how YRA's theory of change applied the Positive Youth Development approach and whether the processes and intermediate results provide evidence of good practices that can inform other USAID activities/interventions. As part of the evaluation team, the MEL Activity seeks a Quantitative specialist. The following are some of the key responsibilities and requirements for the position. **Responsibilities** - Support the evaluation design, the theory of change analysis, and the construction of indicators based on the evaluation questions. - Review primary and secondary sources of information related to behavior change communication, digital communication, and youth-related issues. - Oversee the quality of quantitative and qualitative data collection in thematic issues. - Lead the thematic issues in the design of the quantitative and qualitative data collection instruments and the relevance of the data collection on behavior change communication, digital communication, and youth-related issues. - Actively participate in the qualitative instruments' coding process and provide a thematic review of the process in the codebook production. - Contribute to the analysis of qualitative, quantitative, and secondary information related to the behavior change communication, digital communication, and youth-related issues. - Support the Team Leader in preparing reports and presentations for USAID and the Implementing Partner. - Implement the qualitative instruments in fieldwork for the qualitative data collection on the field.
