Discover a world of career possibilities with Sagan. About the Company: A real estate fix-and-flip company specializing in purchasing residential properties directly from homeowners. Many of these properties require renovations, and homeowners are often in financial distress, facing foreclosure, or other hardships. The team helps guide them through their options, offering a cash purchase solution with minimal hassle. Position Overview: The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in building relationships with homeowners who may be considering selling their properties. This position requires strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to maintain rapport over a long sales cycle (3-6 months on average). The ideal candidate will be empathetic, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up with leads. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with homeowners via phone, text, and email to discuss their property sale options. Build rapport and establish trust with potential sellers, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process. - Follow up consistently to keep the company top of mind, given the long sales cycle. - Educate homeowners on available options, including selling for cash, loan modifications, and other solutions. - Track all interactions and upcoming appointments using CRM software (Podio). - Schedule qualified homeowners for follow-up calls with the Sales Manager or in-person meetings with local representatives. - Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring conversations feel natural and engaging rather than overly corporate. Qualifications: - Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written). - Previous sales or customer service experience (real estate sales is a plus). - Patience and persistence to handle a long sales cycle (3-6 months per deal). - Detail-oriented with the ability to manage follow-ups and track conversations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (OneNote, Teams, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems (Podio). - Experience using phone systems like smartphone is a plus.
