We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our high-impact team and focus on finance-driven projects. You'll play a key role in building and optimizing data pipelines, financial reporting systems, and database architectures that support automated billing, real-time analytics, and data-informed financial operations. Job Description In this role, you'll bridge deep technical skills with a solid understanding of financial workflows—helping streamline processes, reduce errors, and accelerate close cycles. - Design, build, and maintain finance-focused ETL pipelines using tools like Databricks. - Improve data quality, report latency, and pipeline performance through optimization. - Implement data validation and cleansing processes. - Develop integrations with third-party APIs. - Architect and maintain cloud-based Data Warehouse solutions, including designing star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables, and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs). - Develop and maintain Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards. - Partner with finance, operations, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. - Advanced SQL and Python for ETL development. - Proficiency in Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tool. - Experience with relational database design and development. - Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS) and data lake/warehouse architectures. - Familiarity with Excel and RESTful APIs. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are desirable but not required: - Understanding of Financial data sets and processes. - Experience with Databricks or similar tools. - Experience with real-time data streaming. - Experience with Git and DevOps principles.
