We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team in Bogota, Colombia to support our local operations. This position will report to the Accounting Manager in Bogota and interact directly with our Shared Service Center in Newcastle, UK as well as the Statutory team in Toronto, Canada to respond to business inquires, and assist with daily operations in Colombia. This role will not only provide beneficial support to the Accounts Payable Review Colombia invoices received through electronic invoicing platform (DIAN) monthly and compare to Concur to assess outstanding invoices to be processed. Review all Colombia expense reports in detail to ensure all 3rd party details are filled out correctly. Submit monthly Colombia statutory and payroll tax invoices to Concur for processing. Prepare “cuenta de cobro” for invoices or “documento soporte” for expenses as necessary and upload to electronic platform. Prepare weekly Colombia AP Report and upload to the bank. Report weekly payments to AAP Prepare monthly reconciliation between Concur vs JDE. Request new vendors to be created in JDE. Collect Withholding Certificates from all vendors annually. Payroll Summarize monthly changes that impact payroll for submission to payroll provider (starters, leavers, salary changes, vacation, sick leave etc.) Prepare monthly reconciliation of payroll between local provider & JDE. Others Assist with annual financial statement audit requests and other year end requirements. Prepare monthly DANE Report for review.
