About the Role The primary function of this position is to serve as an independent accounting specialist, ensuring the successful execution of all accounting and reporting processes within scope. This individual is fully accountable for the accuracy and completeness of financial records and the timely submission of reports containing financial data for assigned entities. Key Responsibilities - Perform financial accounting and reporting tasks in accordance with established processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. Update process documentation as necessary. - Execute period-end tasks for assigned entities, conduct account reconciliations, and clear accounts. Report actual financial results to the reporting system in a timely manner and meet quality targets. - Maintain compliance with internal procedures and applicable legislation. - Provide support for migration projects (work shadowing, work instruction creation). - Raise issues and concerns to the RTR Team Lead and propose remedial actions. - Assist the RTR Team Lead in identifying areas for improvement to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. Implement medium-level complexity improvement initiatives. - Support cross-process and cross-functional cooperation to achieve overall goals for CBS. - Resolve complex queries raised by employees, managers, finance partners, and other internal and external stakeholders. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders. - Offer active support to GL associates. Required Skills and Qualifications - Combined accounting and finance experience of at least 5 years. - Experience working with Financial Statements. - Proficiency in IFRS and local standards. - Tax (Direct and Indirect) accounting and compliance experience. - Familiarity with Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage. - Strong communication skills. - A mature attitude towards challenges and problem-solving, able to work with limited guidance and determine information needed to resolve complex issues. Manage pressure effectively and cope well with setbacks. - Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-study/research needed to execute tasks. - Able to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities. - Proactive and creative in improving ways of working. - A team player.
