At CI&T;, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr QA (VR Game Development) to join our team in Colombia. You willcontribute to an innovative US-based project in a collaborative,fast-paced, and results-driven environment. Position Overview: As a Mid-level QA (VR Game Development), you will develop and executecomprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for VRapplications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. You will conduct thorough testing of VR modules across variousdevices, identifying and documenting defects while ensuring timelyresolution. Additionally, you will collaborate closely withdevelopers, product managers, and product owners to understandproject requirements and provide feedback on product functionalityand user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and executecomprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for VRapplications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability. - Conduct thorough testing of VR modules across various devices,identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring timelyresolution. - Collaborate closely with developers, productmanagers, and product owners to understand project requirements andprovide feedback on product functionality and user experience. -Implement best practices for quality assurance in VR development,including automated testing frameworks and performancebenchmarking. - Perform regression testing and validate newfeatures, ensuring compatibility and functionality across differentVR platforms and devices. - Analyze test results, generate detailedreports, and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionableinsights for improvement. - Stay current with industry trends in VRtechnology and quality assurance methodologies to enhance testingprocesses and outcomes. - Mentor and guide junior QA team members,if needed, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing withinthe team. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Must-have Skills: -Experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus ontesting VR applications and devices. - Proven experience with VRhardware, including Metaquest, Pico Neo, Oculus, HTC Vive, andother immersive technologies. - Strong understanding of softwaretesting methodologies, tools, and best practices, includingperformance and usability testing. - Proficiency in scriptinglanguages for automated testing and familiarity with testing toolsspecific to VR applications. - Nice-to-have Skills: - Experience ineducational game development or serious games.
