We help members manage their own health in a more efficient, more affordable way and give our providers the flexibility they need to support their patients. **What you’ll be doing**: - Interface with business stakeholders and customer support teams to understand and resolve user-reported issues - Participate in root cause analysis of incidents **Required Qualifications**: - Experience of 8+ yrs in building, maintaining and supporting large software systems - Prior experience of 3-4 years in leading teams of 15-20 members - Development experience with Java, Spring framework, JMS, Batch Processing, JBoss, Web frameworks and legacy J2EE stack // Most of these things should be there. Should have been developer themselves initally - Experience working with Oracle database and SQL - Solid technical skills in development of complex multi-platform environments - Knowledge and understanding of design patterns and concepts - Experience in participating in system design, process modeling, business value analysis and business process design - Demonstrated solid analytical and problem-solving skills **Preferred Qualifications**: - Experience in Healthcare/Financial domain - Experience with cloud solutions **Careers with Optum.** We built an entire organization around one giant objective; make the health system work better for everyone.
