Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Modernization TechnicalProject Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic team. The TPM willcollaborate closely with clients and internal team members to drivethe successful delivery of Mechanized AI’s infrastructure andapplication modernization projects. The ideal candidate will have ablend of strong technical expertise, exceptional project managementskills, and a strong understanding of AI and machine learningtechnologies. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end delivery ofMechanized AI infrastructure and application modernization projects - Oversee the migration of virtual machines (VMs) to containers andthe modernization of legacy applications (e.g., .NET, COBOL, Java)to modern technology stacks - Coordinate the integration ofgenerative AI capabilities into clients’ modernization efforts,ensuring seamless adoption - Collaborate with enterprise clients togather technical and functional requirements and translate theminto actionable plans for the technical team - Develop and maintainproject scope, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource plansto ensure on-time, high-quality, on-budget delivery ofmodernization projects - Serve as the primary contact betweenclients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication andalignment on project goals and expectations - Lead cross-functionalproject teams, delegating tasks effectively and aligning resourceswith project goals - Engage with AI and LLM (Large Language Model)teams to improve automation, documentation, and code modernizationoutcomes - Establish and maintain best practices to ensure codequality, security, and compliance with organizational and industrystandards - Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and developmitigation strategies to keep projects on track - Facilitateregular status meetings and provide detailed project updates tointernal and external stakeholders (technical and non-technical) -Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, andfeedback loops among project teams. Continually refine projectworkflows and delivery processes, leveraging lessons learned andstakeholder feedback Required Skills & Experience: - Bachelor’sdegree in computer science, software engineering or related field -4+ years of experience as a Modernization TPM in a client-facingrole or consulting environment - 3+ years of recent (last 10years), hands-on experience as a software developer working withlegacy code bases (e.g., .NET, Visual Basic, COBOL, Java) - 1+years of experience managing or collaborating with frontend teams,or hands-on frontend development to ensure quality UI output inmodernized code - Proven experience planning and executingmodernization/migration projects from legacy tech stacks to moderntech stacks - Understanding of AI/ML concepts, tools, and practicalapplications - Proven ability to gather and document technicalrequirements and translate them into actionable tasks forengineering teams - Proficiency with project management tools(e.g., Trello, Jira) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban,XP) - Experience overseeing modernization project timelines andresource allocation - Strong problem-solving skills and ability tomanage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment - Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to workeffectively across technical and non-technical teams - C1/C2(advanced/proficient) level English is required PreferredQualifications: - Strong understanding of legacy code patterns,standards, and antipatterns - Strong understanding of modern codepatterns, standards, antipatterns, and architecture - 1+ yearworking in AI/ML related projects and/or with data scientists -Some experience with Generative AI and LLMs - Experience with cloudplatforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) - Project managementcertifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum Master) Contact: VirginiaKing Recruiter Mechanized AI #J-18808-Ljbffr
