Product Manager | B2B SaaS | US Business Finance Product Manager | B2B SaaS | US Business Finance Our client, a US-based B2B SaaS startup, is seeking a skilled Product Manager to lead the development of its accounts receivable software for finance teams. You’ll join a cross-functional product team responsible for delivering the core product. As a Product Manager , you’ll own the product roadmap and be accountable for maximising the value of the product delivered by your team. You’ll work with engineers, designers, and QA on your team and report directly to the CEO. This is a full-time, contract position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. Product The product is an accounts receivable platform that helps companies get paid on time and recover delinquent accounts. It’s a horizontal product serving finance teams in mid-sized enterprises across various industries. To serve a diverse range of industries, the product is built as a platform that allows for customisation tailored to specific industries. Responsibilities Proactively interview stakeholders to understand their problems, needs, and goals. Identify and prioritise problems to solve and opportunities to pursue. Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the product team. Facilitate stakeholder alignment and consensus on priorities and the roadmap. Create, prioritise, and maintain the product development backlog. Ensure backlog items are well-defined, scoped, and ordered to deliver maximum value. Elicit business and user needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements. Analyse third-party APIs and how they can be applied in the product. Collaborate with designers and engineers to design development-ready solutions. Clarify requirements and support the product team during the implementation process. Prepare and lead regular demos and progress updates for business stakeholders. Keep stakeholders informed on progress and manage expectations. Review the product regularly and provide feedback to ensure exceptional quality. Define and track key success metrics to measure the impact of your product. Required experience 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS company. Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones. Proven track record working directly with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders. Beneficial experience: Leading ERP or other enterprise software implementation projects. Background as a software engineer or in another technical role. Required skills and competencies Ability to elicit and understand business customers’ workflows, pain points, and needs. Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance diverse stakeholder needs. Ability to prioritise and make decisions using structured problem-solving and data Technical literacy to understand the capabilities and limitations of the technology. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Keen eye for UX/UI design, with high attention to detail and a high standard of quality. Excellent interviewing, facilitation, and presentation skills. Beneficial skills and competencies: Domain knowledge of accounting, billing, and accounts receivable. Work location This is a fully remote position. The team is distributed between the United States and Eastern Europe .
