We are looking for our next Senior Claims Analyst: About the role Senior Claims Analysts are responsible for providing support and ensuring accurate, timely, and proactive communication to colleagues and merchants or banks related to claims submission based on research and analyze routine and complex claims data to determine that payments and settlements have been made in accordance with PayU practices and procedures. Their duties include verifying submitted claims, assessing policies, performing reconciliation with claims estimates, and conducting payment negotiations. **What you¨ll do** - Analyze claims processing data, identify common errors and potential gaps in claims processing protocols. - Work effectively across businesses and with internal partners to ensure claims control measurement and analytic strategies are aligned to ensure the proper adjudication of claims according to plan guidelines and making process recommendations. - Monitor the disputes process and chargebacks in LatAm. - Analyze the supporting documents received by merchants and do the representation process and related with commercial team to requirements. - Ensuring information is accurately and efficiently input onto our systems within specific timeframes. - Support Supervisor and Manager where required in ensuring that the team operates efficiently. - Analyze the alerts generated by the increased number of disputes and chargebacks, per merchant and per country. - Respond to requests made by merchants, sales team, buyers, payment network and others. Within established times and complying with the processes of the area. - Provide loss history when requested and work closely with negative balance and casa de cobros. - Ensure that all assigned task items are completed on time on a daily basis. - Manage relationships by providing clients and advisors with clear understanding of requirements and status of claim. **What you’ll need to succeed** Entry-level Requirements ***: - Industrial engineer or related, Business Administration or financial related. - 2 years of experience in administrative roles or operational roles or related. - 1 year of relevant experience required with considerable experience in senior position or mentoring - Knowledge in databases and Business process automation (Excel, Access, Power BI and Tableau). - Intermediate English level (desirable) - Office tools management. - Analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data.
