About the role - As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. - You will prepare account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues, and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies. - Additionally, you will support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Key responsibilities - Support management in implementing financial projects to ensure timely and accurate outcomes. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for LATAM. - Ensure compliance with year-end requirements in each LATAM country. - Oversee internal and external audits for LATAM operations. - Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and HR teams to enhance accounting and financial process efficiency and cross-departmental coordination. - Reconcile, analyze, and report on expenses, revenue, variances, and balance sheet accounts for LATAM. - Lead pre-closing and closing activities for timely financial reporting. - Identify automation opportunities and propose process improvements. - Provide reports, presentations, and analyses for projects and tasks. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting. - Over 5 years of proven experience as an accountant, preferably in financial companies. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Knowledge of financial modeling tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP. - Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
